Library
Dorothy Appleyard was a leading light as Librarian for many years with the Yorkshire Branch and also as secretary for the Airedale Group. Many members have fond memories of hours spent in her little home in the village of Saltaire, nr Bradford. She inspired many members in her devotion to the Branch and on her death it was decided that her years given to the Society should be marked in a special way. The Yorkshire Branch has a substantial library and it was decided that the Library be renamed in memory of her and the hours she spent in it. Books can be borrowed from the library - a list of holdings can be obtained by contacting the librarian at the email address at the bottom of this page. Anyone wishing to visit the library can do so by prior appointment.
ROSALBA PRESS
The Branch, from time to time, publishes small works written by its own members. A full list is available on request.
